The team at Frontline First has been very grateful for all of the support we have received. We have been immensely successful at our goal of fundraising for PPE and directly helping our frontline workers at Ottawa hospitals. Our team has hit significant milestones, such as reaching more than half our goal of $10,000 in monetary donations, as well as donating to every hospital in Ottawa at least once! We are thankful to our supporters and every sponsor who has been kind enough to offer supplies that further encourage all hospital staff.
Therefore, we are thrilled to announce that Frontline First will be making an official expansion! We are launching our Community Care project that aims to support and donate to long term care homes, retirement homes and women’s shelters. These facilities are known to protect some of our population’s most vulnerable individuals, with passionate frontliners such as nurses, PSWs, therapists and physicians working tirelessly and risking their lives daily. Under the circumstances of COVID-19, we are certain that such facilities are in need of our utmost support.
If you are aware of a facility such as those mentioned above that may require our aid, please find the request form below, to specify the institution name, contact information and most needed supplies. We ensure that we will review all applications in a timely manner.
With the help of our sponsors, donors and the Frontline First Sewing Crew, we will be directly delivering supplies based on our inventory of face masks, face shields, hand sanitizer and in kind donations such as coffee, energy drinks, meals and skin care products.
At Frontline First, we believe in the action of giving back. We are deeply moved by the dedication of all Frontline workers, especially in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is time for us, as members of the community, to care for and support those who continuously and diligently protect us and our loved ones.
